This short work examines the role of human behavior with AI technology, creative ownership, the trial and error of the collaborative creative process. The errors became our source material--both funny and a bit haunting.
A humorous digital video documenting a failed attempt to create a VR project through AI. This is a documentary of sorts where two artists work with an unfamiliar discipline in AI software. As writers and visual artists we came to the project with zero pre-conceived ideation other than that we would only work on it together in person, over a course of a year, meeting on Saturday mornings for an “art session” to experiment, play and expand upon a single prompt: Could the free application Dall-E create visuals for our fictional avant-garde rom-com VR script?
